Behold Earth, a planet of clouds! From the vantage point of space, European astronaut Alexander Gerst (@astro_alex_esa) reminds us of the beauty and wonder of our home planet. Gerst is currently one of six humans aboard the International Space Station (@国際宇宙ステーション). Each day, the station completes 16 orbits of our home planet as the six humans living and working aboard our orbiting laboratory conduct important science and research. Their work will not only benefit life here on Earth, but will help us venture deeper into space than ever before.
