Distressed jeans are kind of a conundrum, right? You buy them for this casual, cool feel but you don’t necessarily want to think about the fact that you’re wearing shredded pants. When I wear distressed jeans, I try to offset them with something luxe, like patent ballet flats or a structured coat (unless I’m going somewhere like a concert, where I want them to be as distressed as possible).
