Paddling out to Queens never gets old. I can almost feel the rich hawaiian surf history when I touch the water and am just in awe every time I look up at Diamond Head??

I wonder if Duke Kahanamoku ever thought that by being the father of modern day surfing he was clearing a path for people with all flavors of “disabilities” to find their mobility and freedom in the same Waikiki Waves?!?

He probably did, what a visionary. Im pretty sure he’s looking down and smiling at all the stoke and Aloha that’s being shared by @accessurf_hawaii and @dukesoceanfest ??☺️

The comp kicked off today w women’s waveski and the waves were micro but still fun to get wet! Moving on to Heat #2 and the Final on Wednesday???.
