Isn’t she perrrrrrty?!?! ?? Every time I go to Vegas, you are some of my favorite people to see @diplomatrentals !!! You guys make me feel like a Bond Girl every damn time! Honestly, I’ve never been much of a car kinda gal (except for my dream car and if you guys KNOW me, you’ll know what it is / know that I can’t afford her ??) but recently I’ve really started to think about priorities and why I don’t like to treat myself. I’m always the practical girl. Does this car get me from point A to point B and if it were to break down, how much to fix it? Will it hurt me to have a car payment? How much will my insurance be? Will filling up the tank cost me an arm and a leg? I’m to the point where I’m like “Shit! they are making Kias and Hyundai’s look realllllll nice” ! But... I can’t do it. I work hard. Very hard. I like nice things but I don’t need them. Convertibles and 2 seat sports cars are sexy buttttt not feasible for kiddo/s. I really want a Range Rover but I don’t want that car payment. I don’t want to pull from savings when shit breaks down. Some people have car payments that match their rent. I don’t get that shit. You may look at my life and say “Ok im sure you can afford it ?”. Well... if I put down 7k and leased it, I’d still have a $600 -800 month car payment. Or... if I buy a used one, I chance the warranty not covering shit and then yea... I’m screwed. I hate that I over think everything but I’m thankful I do at the same time. It’s kept me out of trouble and being a single person income with a kid, being smart with money is a priority. I will keep coming to see you @diplomatrentals to feel like a fancy pants kinda gal but in reality, I’m a “sweats loving / practical and frugal spending “ kinda chick. And for those asking, NO! I clearly haven’t found a car yet. ???
