Lately I’ve felt like the highlight reels on social media are getting out of control and have felt myself pulling back this week.
.
I’ve actually had moments of inadequacy at times & it’s caused me to freeze. Bet you wouldn’t gather that from what you see?
.

I totally get that we all wanna put our best self out into the world but I also feel like our best self isn’t picture perfect or always on the best vacations. It’s who we are at home on a Tuesday night.
.

My closest friends and loved ones are not famous. The people I have the most respect and admiration for are smart & driven.. but more importantly kind people with big hearts who love life & laugh often. I could care less how many followers they have or how how much money they’ve acquired. It sometimes scares me to think that those qualities go unnoticed in favor of popularity, power and money.

Those that have been thru hell and gained strength & wisdom from it always get me to stand up & notice but Inspiration comes in ALL forms..that’s what I love about social media.

Just remember. Fame, money, power, degrees, looks, cars and vacations does NOT make someone better than you in ANY way.
.

What you think is an ordinary life might just be what somebody living your ‘ideal life’ prays for, so don’t get caught up in the highlight reels. They aren’t always what they seem. ❤️
