From my new book. The truthiest of truth sandwiches. It all starts with self...we lead ourselves in and out of other people’s lives, sometimes so recklessly we don’t even see how much we are hurting ourselves or others by who we choose to be with/around. We cannot set ourselves on fire and then wonder why nobody is around to help put it out...just like we can’t expect to go into a life hoping to change it. Change yourself. See good in others and the world, but see it within yourself first...and more importantly, see your flaws. See them, respect them, love yourself through recognizing them, and let them go.
And remember, I am still learning all of this, too. I will always have a lot to learn and hope I forever remain teachable.
