Such a fun show tonight!
I gotta say ... My amazing friends and the love of my life (not pictured) showed up to surprise me tonight and when I saw them all, I got so nervous!! I started doubting everything I might do on stage ... but then, they gave me such amazing love and support that it all subsided. It’s funny how we all tend to beat ourselves up for things when we want to do a good job to impress people. Well, maybe not everyone does that, but I do. And, it’s nights like this that remind me to just shut up and take the love. Take it, embrace it, and know that it’s real. Because that’s what it’s all about. And, with that, I had one of THE most fun shows I’ve ever had!
And that crazy little asshole voice in my head was silenced.
... At least for tonight. ?
I know it’s super lame to say “blessed” ... but I’m feeling super blessed.
