#OTD in 1902 the Coronation of King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra took place at Westminster Abbey. The Coronation was originally planned for 26 June 1902 but had to be postponed as the King developed appendicitis. This photograph from @royal_collection_trust shows The King and Queen in their Coronation robes – the first time this had been photographed.
