Converting from highlights to a melt can be extremely intimidating and I’ve been asked by a few of you how I do my color melts, or really my fingermelt technique.
1️⃣ I started on wet hair with @ruskhaircare Deepshine Gloss 7G & 8N at the roots to a little off the roots and with tail comb section hair and melt with pointer and middle fingers.
2️⃣ Then, apply Rusk Deepshine Gloss 6N on top of other mixture (so really it’s like a 7GN combined with other mixture.) If you notice in the video I weave out low lights and apply the 6N to add dimension to the melt and break up the color.
3️⃣ Rinse. ⠀
4️⃣ After, I apply straight 6N at the roots smudge root a bit then rinse. THEN apply Rusk Deepshine Gloss 9A all over the head.
