This summer has been unbearably hot and muggy. I haven’t been sleeping well because every room of our house feels like a swamp and every blanket feels too hot. When I saw this photo from @familleribeaucourt it reminded me of the super light weight summer quilts my mom used to swap all our bedding for when it got hot outside. I had this pale purple and mint green quilt that eventually got so worn-in and loved that it basically disintegrated. When I saw this picture it took me RIGHT back to being a little girl and curling up with that quilt I loved so much that I decorated my room to match (Oh the grape vine wallpaper borders! ?). Does anyone else have childhood room memories like that? It’s funny how one photo can remind you of something that takes us right back to childhood in an instant ✨.
