We are trying to raise as much money and awareness for amfAR, and as you may know today, 1.1 million people are living with HIV/AIDS in the U.S. and nearly 40,000 people contract HIV every year in the U.S. Even more striking is the fact that about 1 in 7 people living with HIV in the U.S. don’t know they have it. There IS progress, though—In the past six years, new HIV infections in the US have fallen 18 percent. Kiehl’s is very proud to have been part of this progress; since the disease’s emergence in the 80s, the company has been a strong supporter of HIV/AIDS organizations.⠀
