Five things you might not know about these two, from a mother’s perspective:⠀

1. Chloe has been studying her butt off for the SATs over the last few months. She’s taken them twice and plans to take them at least one more time. She definitely wants to go to college. ✏️?⠀

2. Clara’s eyes are a gift from my grandparents. (Wha???) I have SUPER brown eyes and Marc has green (so pretty), but both of my grandparents had blue eyes and so does Marc’s dad. So we both carry the recessive gene. Never thought I’d have such a blue eyed babe, but here she is. I thank Liz and Andy. ???⠀

3. Speaking of Liz and Andy, when Chloe was a baby, she went to daycare close to their house. They would pick her up EVERY SINGLE DAY at 1:00pm and bring her to their house so she could take an afternoon nap with her Pappap and then Grammy would find something to entertain her until I could pick her up after work. It usually involved playing with pots and pans and wooden spoons ? ☺️ ⠀

4. Clara is a world class sprinter. ? In the mornings, she likes to come into my room and snuggle, but she has to get there first. We have a long hallway and our rooms are on opposite ends and (obviously) she always thinks something terrifying is chasing her. So she runs as FAST as humanly possible and catapults herself into my bed, BARELY missing my soft parts. It’s more terrifying for me ? ?‍♀️ ⠀

5. They fight with each other like MANIACS, but they also have the sweetest sister relationship ever seen. I love that my seventeen year old has no shame is telling my my eight year old that she’s her best friend. ? ⠀
