In-camera #doubleExposure over the salt pools of #TolarGrande Argentina, a truly incredible place. This wide open desert is surrounded by mountains, perfect for double exposures when the light is low and the distant peaks are silhouetted. For photo enthusiasts, I used a @NikonUSA #D850 and two lenses, an 80-400 and a 16-35. The first frame was the mountains shot at 400mm and the proceeding frame with at 16mm. The trick is balancing your exposure and compositionally placing things in a way where the two photos don’t overlap when taking both shots. This has to be done by memory as you shoot the 2 photos, which can be tricky as you’re changing lenses and then re-composing. It’s very easy to mess up but a lot of fun, allowing you to open up a whole new world of creative opportunities and the beat part is that you have a RAW file when it’s all said and done ✌?
