The summer months for #polarBears are generally lean times, especially for a mother with 2 new born #cubs. As the sea ice recedes hunting seals becomes much more difficult, making foraging for eggs from nesting birds and scavenging a regular part of the hunt. We encountered this beautiful family in the Svalbard archipelago napping in the heat of the day. An unforgettable encounter with these incredible animals. @naturalworldsafaris
