Last week our fam visited our DR fam! 11 years ago we thought we were going on a “mission trip” but it’s not that anymore...it’s so much more. We love these kiddos with all of our hearts and can’t wait to see them each year.
We’ve laughed together, cried on each-others shoulders, played lots of basketball, made a gazillion friendship bracelets, swam in the ocean, prayed big prayers, and continuously cheered one another on. They’ve graduate from high school, won awards and worked hard to achieve their dreams. Several are starting college this year. We couldn’t be more proud!
Their home is supported by @helponenow A non-profit that I’m on the board of that does incredible work around the world by coming alongside smart, humble, passionate local leaders that love Jesus, love their countries and want to give every single person a hope for a better tomorrow.
