#ThisIsGrassroots: “When I got the offer to be signed by them, I couldn’t put it into words. The journey that I went through to get here, it’s been special. Grassroots basketball is a family. When I was growing up I played against @josh_j11, guys like @willthethrillb5 mentored me and some other guys were really brothers to me. When I was a young kid, even though I played basketball, I was into other sports obviously. I really wanted this particular pair of Under Armour cleats but as a family we couldn’t afford them. As I grew older I started playing in the @uaassociation, wearing Under Armour all the time and I loved it. When my hard work paid off and I made it to the @NBA, I had to go cop a pair of those cleats to remind myself where I came from.” - @the2kferguson
