I am so pleased and excited about all the positive media Sharks are receiving for Shark Week 2018, and with @bahamasnationaltrust just winning $100,000 for Shark Conservation. Anytime you visit our Nationals Parks like the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, you can see why The Bahamas is one of the world leaders in Shark Conservation. This congregation of Reef Sharks is possibly the largest in the Exuma chain. As you can tell in the photo, some of these beautiful Sharks were tagged by researchers from around the world to monitor their movements and behaviors that will help in understanding them. It’s so thrilling being at Danger Reef, as you never know what to expect as you get into the water with these magnificent creatures.
