It may be cliche, but when I say the kids are our future...I mean it!! I've been so fortunate to have been put on the shoulders of some of my musical idols (I'm talking about the greats...Lionel Hampton, Nadia Boulanger, Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry...you name it) from day 1, & I couldn't be happier to do the same for these young cats. As adults, we don't just get a pass to talk about "these millennials" in a negative light if we're not trying to contribute any light to their lives...This kid right here is one I'm proud to know & to see him grow up & improve his craft is an absolute gift. Andreas, thank-Q for performing on my 85th bday shows in Europe this summer...It was a joy to see you, & do the hang-thang w/ your bro & ur pops.
