I captured this moment when the couple stayed on the ground to dig their nest. Other birds of the colony gave warning sound, so both of them looked to the same direction to detect the possible threat. Even though, only the #male is digging, #female stays close to warn her mate in time to escape, if there is a trouble, like an approaching predator. Taken about 10 miles from my actual residency in #Hungary. No need to travel far away for fantastic experience. Travel less, discover your backyard, reduce your ecological footprint!
