Teen Vogueさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Teen VogueInstagram)「Meet Hannah Daisy (@makedaisychains)! She’s an artist, illustrator, and mental health activist based in London, UK. She’s been working on a series titled #boringselfcare as a response to the way “the internet” talks about and defines “self care.” She says she felt frustrated that the idea of self care included only activities to do for yourself, which alienates people with disabilities, as well as self care that requires you to spend money, which not all individuals are able to afford. In her own words, “Often the way it’s talked about can make people with mental health problems, chronic illness and disability feel bad, ‘go have a bath bomb and buy some crystals, oh wait I have a pile of dishes to do.’” As you can tell, accessibility is a passion of Daisy’s. She tries to make her Instagram as accessible as possible by including visual descriptions for the visually impaired, and presents many illustrations that feature mental health at the forefront. In her drawings she attempts to include people who are often not visible in media, such as trans people, people of colour, disabled people, fat people, gay people, women, older people, Deaf people, differences in body hair, people of faith, people with scars, ostomy bags and more. She has used her platform to meet others, such as running a workshop in London this month with @martinamartian! Otherwise, she also wishes you to check out other accounts like @soofiya @jacobvjoyce @annieelainey @travisalabanza. #ShineTheory ⚡️」7月23日 0時21分 - teenvogue
