Do you remember seeing photos of Evvie winking? Well, she has strabismus and is wearing a patch to train her eye.

I noticed when she was brand new (doc at the time blew me off and suggested I have a beer to relax-I got a second opinion instead-trust your gut!). She’s been patching for about two years, and while she’s not a good candidate for surgery, this corrective training is helping a lot.

There’s nothing wrong with her. Being different is a good thing!
