I promised more about the gentle giant Sebakwe , and here he is asking me to try to get his favorite treat up and into his mouth. To be around a huge bull elephant in this relaxed way is really indescribable. Sebakwe was trained to give rides in Zimbabwe , then in 2002 Sebakwe and his herd were suddenly homeless and going to be killed. @campjabulani became their new home , eventually ending all elephant back rides and dedicating themselves to giving this growing herd the best life possible. It is a sugh an experience to be near these special souls. I am beyond lucky to be able to continue to meet elephants in different settings , who have been through so much, and luckily have found humans who are dedicated to protecting them. Thank you to all of the Keepers , who care so much ❤️
