I dont think I’ve ever been groomed by an owl before, what an honor! This is a Verreaux’s eagle owl, he/she has grown so much since i met him/her. He/she is hunting quite successfully now too! It’s wonderful to witness successful rescue , rehabilition and then reintegration back into the wild for orphaned animals. It isn’t always possible , but when it works it’s magical ! Thank you @campjabulani and @hesc_endangeredspeciescentre for all that you do !
