Most western states have sand dunes, but none are as tall or dramatic as Great Sand Dunes #NationalPark & Preserve in #Colorado. The combination of opposing winds, a huge supply of sand from the valley floor and the sand recycling action of the park’s creeks are all factors that push these dunes as high as 750 feet tall.
