The folk at Anthem Publishing have been in touch with details of the third instalment of four of The Bowie Years.

In this third volume, From Pop Star To Alt Rocker, we explore one of the most successful and yet controversial periods of Bowie’s career. Our journey begins in 1983, with Bowie hitting his commercial peak with the floor-filling Let’s Dance, and then dealing with his pop superstardom via the likes of Tonight and Never Let Me Down, before finally throwing off the shackles and diving into the polarising rock project, Tin Machine, before rediscovering his creative spark with one of his most under-heard albums, The Buddha Of Suburbia.
Inside this 132-page edition, our experts chart the highs and lows of David Bowie’s work from 1983 to 1993, analysing each diverse album of the period on a track by track basis, while also pulling out a playlist of lesser known gems for you to get your ears round. What’s more, we also explore Bowie’s relationship with his varied collaborators in this era – including brand new interviews with sidemen Carmine Rojas and Kevin Armstrong, and examining his work with pop superstars Nile Rodgers and Queen.
