President #Trump has called for those who cross into the U.S. illegally to be sent back immediately without due process or an appearance before a judge. “We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country,” he tweeted on Sunday. Drawing questions about constitutionality and prompting criticism in Congress, the president’s comments came after he signed an executive order last week that ended the separation of immigrant children from their parents under a “zero tolerance” policy announced 2 months ago. The House is planning to vote this week on a bill that would increase border security and provide a path to citizenship for the young undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers, while also allowing migrant families to be detained together indefinitely.
