Happy Summer Solstice! I love this day. It was my dad’s favorite and every June 21st we called each other. I think it’s fitting that the longest day of the year was his most treasured as he was definitely a lover of life who always saw the cup not only half full but pouring over. I got my insatiable quest for finding the magic in the ordinary and everyday details from him and I’m happy that the summer solstice will always remind me of his spirit and yawp for living with a full and open heart. May we all. ?

In other happy news, my very first Superior Labor treasure has arrived from @wonderpens! I was lucky to snag this before it sold out! It is luscious. I am smitten. And the crew at @wonderpens are always so friendly and go above and beyond. Another reason why I love independent shops and this one is among the best!

Today I journaled with my dad’s M200 Green Marble fountain pen by @pelikan_international inked with their Olivine Edelstein Ink of the Year. My current favorite VN refill is the graph version which has been tucked in my Umber VN which is back in stock at @franklinchristoph. And today’s bag is the Rue Crossbody made from bridle leather by @bradleymountain.
