So I'll start with saying that this book is incredibly intense and raw. It has to do with male victims of rape by a single female perpetrator. This will not be for everyone.

This is one of the few books I've ever had some kind of emotional reaction to, so well done to Amber. It was more so a sense of frustration, which I'm sure was the point. This book has an incredibly unique writing style with a combination of poetry, journal entries, transcripts, and social media interactions (OkCupid and Twitter are a couple).

We follow the different victims and how their lives are completely altered and impacted because of their assaults by a woman only known as Maude. The public's responses and how rape culture is viewed, but this is from a different perspective as it's now male victims.

Amber has such a distinct literary voice and I look forward to more fiction from her in the future!
