I used to be ashamed of being called “Refugee” cause I felt Refugees have nothing, no home, no hopes, no dreams.
But then I realized that I’m still dreaming and I’m carrying my home in my heart, fighting everyday single day to be a better person & to give hope to people who lost their homes.
I saw kids in the camps and guess what they smile like nothing ever happened ,they dream like they never had their dreams stolen from them, their hearts are diamonds you can never break them.
They’re stronger than war and violence.
I decided to be like those kids.
I am a Refugee.
And I’m proud to stand #withrefugees
