Bad bad bad news again... It's not just poopy it's kinda shi**y now!?
Yesterday, Tiny got kinda weak and didn't ate... I figured he was just tired and let him sleep. This morning he was weaker, still not ate nor drink, i had to give him some water with a syringe... Then he started shivering and having troubles with his tongue and mouth who kinda looked swollen and wasn't able to walk correctly then he was breathing weirdly and nearly unresponsive with his tongue out his mouth and 41°C fever (all this in a couple of hours!!!) so we went to the vet in a hurry... Now, i'm sorry if it's not explained well but i'm translating french kinda medical terms in english here and it's not easy. (Also i'm a mess!):
It is a coronavirus. There are two types of it: one not very bad and easily treatable and one very dangerous and deadly especially for kittens. It can be triggered by different things for every cat. Since Tiny has been bottle feeded he is not as well protected as his suckling siblings so, basically, weaker.
He had a rehydratation shot, two antibiotics shots and an anti fever shot as well as a gastric bandaid. He'll have three antibiotics to take for a week after that... But that's only if he gets better and has the "not bad" coronavirus. If tomorrow he hasn't improved with all the meds he had today that means he will not make it.
I didn't had the money to let him stay on a drip at the vet so he had that rehydratation shot and i have to make him drink with the syringe every three hours. I prefer to have him home anyway and right now i don't care about anything except him getting better! Please send good vibes, prayers, love, everything you have for him to get better! Thanks everyone!?
