This injured girl is being treated at a UNICEF-supported hospital in Hodeidah, a city in #Yemen under attack. She was fleeing brutal violence with her family when she was hit, along with her two brothers and uncle. At least 300,000 children live in and around Hodeidah and millions depend on the life-saving aid funneled through Hodeidah’s ports. Choking off this lifeline will have devastating consequences for every single one of them. We’re calling on all parties in this conflict, and all those who have influence over them, to put the protection of children above all other considerations. Peace needs to be given a chance.
