These kids deserve FREE quality education, and to grow up in a caring and supportive environment. @cambodia_yi is a grassroots non-profit organization working with socio-economically disadvantaged youth in Cambodia. The environment these kids live in is tough – filled with poverty, abuse, and neglect. This post from CYI filled my heart with joy. Seeing everyone together for a fun day of activities, good food, AND those genuine smiles gives me so much hope for their bright futures. We would like to thank Ellen and her family for making a stop at our center from all the traveling that they did for the past few weeks. The made a special stop at or center right from Sihanoukville just to meet our kids, team, and see our program in action. Although brief, you and your family left lasting impressions on us. We also thank your family for directly donating to our youth. Our youth voted and decided to use your donation towards renting a soccer field for the day so that they can be outside and be kids. We also used the rest of the donation not only to buy and cook our own food for the day but also we had enough for our youth to take home to their families.
