We've all experience heart wrenching pain. A feeling in which our soul drop into our stomachs. Some thing that makes you question why you're feeling this sadness, this pain.. Let’s face it, There’s darkness inside all of us. This is something that we throughout our lives can't escape. That part of our soul that is damaged by the very trials and tribulations of our past or even present hardship.
We are what we are because of it, or perhaps in spite of it. Some use it as a shield to hide behind or as an excuse for their present being.. but few USE IT AS MOTIVATION TO DO COURAGEOUS THINGS. Those few use it as fuel, to push past the pain, the heartache and out the rut of uncritical satisfaction with their themselves or their lives. They don't drown in their own state of sorrow, instead they are optimistic and hard working. They know what darkness feels like so they strive for light. They are strong enough to block out the pain and continue to strive for greater things... and they have the understanding that life is completely what you make it, so they keep up the pursuit.
You have a choice, you can either be like the few or the many but know before you choose that there is darkness inside of ALL OF US and our darkness is simply a piece of the whole, neither good nor evil unless you make it so. ✨
