This is my face (on a good day). #nomakeup and #nofilters this is the REAL me. I battle breakouts all the time, clogged pores, discoloration, hyper-pigmentation, scarring, all that lovely shit, just ask my facial guru (who is my saving grace btw) @mischakleinspa ???
But I came across the hashtag #thisismyface and it really spoke to me. We live in a society that idolizes “perfection” and an unrealistic standard of “beauty.” Airbrushing, photoshopping, and altering your REAL self to look a certain way. Why? It’s such a waste of precious time and energy and it puts your mind in the wrong state of being. Be happy with who you are, love your REAL self because REAL is beautiful!!! So I’m challenging you all and anyone, to post a REAL photo of yourself, unretocuhed, no makeup, no filters and hashtag #thisismyface. Tag me so I can see too ?
