Luggard is a baby elephant orphan being cared for by the @dswt . He was shot twice in the legs, likely as he was trying to protect his mother from poachers who killed her for her tusks. One of the bullets shattered his back knee, leaving him with a permanent limp.
I love him. ... and had to share. ?
