50 years ago today Robert F. Kennedy was gunned down at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. I was proud to paint this mural at the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools because I think that the focus on the arts is fantastic but also because I believe that RFK was a tremendous human being. He was an outspoken advocate for civil rights and equality, he was a amazing orator, even spontaneously and under pressure. For a great example check out the speech he made the night of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination.
