Photo by @amivitale. A Samburu girl keeps watch of her family’s goats on the 850,000-acre Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy, near Sarara Camp (@sararacamp). Sarara means “meeting place” in the Samburu language. Environmental pressures are making grazing more volatile, but the conservancy helps the Samburu combine their knowledge with modern science to more sustainably manage their rangeland.
