Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) - a 10-storey, multi-use (shopping, entertainment, restaurants, hotels and gardens galore), featuring the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, (40 m high), is under construction at Singapore Changi Airport. Jewel is designed to have a combination of a marketplace and an urban park. “The component of a traditional mall combined with the experience of nature, culture, education and recreation, aims to provide an uplifting experience. By drawing both travelers and local residents alike, we aim to create a place where the people of Singapore interact with the people of the world,” says Moshe Safdie, the lead design consultant.  This massive glass canopy is made up of over 9,000 glass panels that will house one of Singapore’s largest indoor gardens.
