This week here at Taronga Zoo Sydney, we celebrated one year since Jai Dee the Asian Elephant calf was born. This cheeky little guy has put on a whopping 450kg over the past 12 months and continues to win over the hearts of everyone who meets him. The birth of Jai Dee is significant success for the Australasian conservation breeding program which is working to prevent extinction of this amazing species and preserve genetic diversity. ? #ForTheWild
