Pretty awesome to hear @トミー・コールドウェル and @アレックス・オノルド broke the Nose speed record on El Cap yesterday in a blistering 2 hours 10 minutes and 15 seconds. To put that in perspective, there are a lot of teams that take two hours to climb one pitch on the Nose. Tommy and Alex climbed 31 pitches covering roughly 3000ft of vert in that amount of time, dropping 10 minutes off the previous record. I’m not sure I want to know how they did it but it’s probably fair to imagine a few epic run outs...! Sub three hours on the Nose seemed impossible ten years ago, sub two hours is now on the horizon....
