A quiet moment on a cloudy Sunday morning. Each year we welcome Memorial Day weekend in as the kick off the summer. Long days on the beach, hiking in the mountains, crazy good sales at the outlet malls, picnics, and backyard BBQ’s Memorial Day has it all. The perfect time to wear your shiny new speedos and bikinis and sip on whatever cider or ale is trendy this season. This is the weekend we also take a moment to remember those that died in active duty protecting and fighting for others. In an era where the draft is a thing of the past I think we all too often forget that for generations military service wasn’t an option, it was forced upon them. On this Memorial Day weekend we remember those that have been sent far away from home to protect our homes, and we remember those that to today go far away from home to fight so others may have a better home. #memorialday #liveauthentic
