I just wanted to share this map for anyone who is thinking of going to Hawaii or has had plans to go to Hawaii. This is all happening on the Big Island and only in a small part of the Island. Please don’t cancel your trip to Hawaii because you fear the volcano. There has been a lot of false media about the active volcano and it is affecting not just the residents of the area but the entire State of Hawaii which consists of Eight major Islands. The State of Hawaii relies on tourism as its main source of income. So many are already being affected by the false news that their livelihood is in jeopardy. Please let friends and family know it is SAFE to travel to Hawaii!! Your vacation will be AMAZING and that you will NOT have to worry about Lava or gases coming from the volcano.
