As the oldest of 7 sisters, I was struck by how many of my friends were affected by Lupus and had lost young sisters to the mystery disease. I knew I had to get involved to support my friends and try to protect my family and sisters. And as someone who is armed with information as a result of attending a few events for Lupus LA, I have been able to become an advocate for people everywhere who may not know about the disease and help spread awareness for early treatment. @lupusla @nicolehdjewelry
