A young staff member of F.A.C.E. (The Farm Animal Centre for Education) treats an injured horse in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Programs like these, provide desperately needed veterinary care to animals in resource poor areas. They aim to facilitate the improvement of the lives of donkey & horse-owning families and their animals. These people are from a marginalized and impoverished sector of South Africa’s population.
