Awareness, education & tolerance are key: In today’s day and age everyone who runs a social media handle thinks they’re a journalist. Unfortunately there are so many mistruths being spread and if they are repeated enough times they become fact which further muddies the water for those at the coal face of it all. Because you open a Facebook or Instagram page, give yourself a catchy conservation or animal activism sounding name and gain a few followers doesn’t make you credible. Like we need to spread awareness about conservation issues we also need to spread awareness about these particular people who troll the internet doing more harm than good and call them out. Usually they hide behind pseudonyms or faceless avatars in ‘fear of their safety’ but truth is their real fear is being exposed for who they really are and their hidden
agendas. .
