This was meant to be a stunningly posed shot with perfect tableware and candles softly flickering. The reality though is I ate this delicious homemade Spiced Honeyed Aubergines with Harissa Couscous dish with an inquisitive baby on my lap (who really enjoyed grabbing!), a cat snuck in behind me and Darcy laughed hysterically at me trying to pose/stop Pearl grabbing my plate etc! Thank goodness making the actual dinner was easy! @Waitrose have #beautifullysimple recipes that allow you to whip up really easy meals with great ingredients. We’ve now made three of them (we’re a bit in love with the way they lay out all the ingredients in one place in the shop so you don’t have to do any work at all haha) but you can see this one in tonight’s vlog detailing our Afternoon Routine! So happy to have partnered with Waitrose on it! So happy they appreciate that you can’t always pose real family life!! #ad
