In honor of the recent Red Bull Wings for Life World Run which happens on May 6th, here is a throw back to two years ago when I got to raise € and “run” the race at the headquarters in Vienna, Austria! I was able to tour the exceptionally beautiful and accessible city of Vienna by pushing as fast as I could before getting caught by the Red Bull car and....as it turned out, I went farther than any other female in the wheelchair division finishing at the 21km (13.5mi) mark. I joined the other winners on the podium and got to spray champagne all over the place! It was the most amazing experience joining the entire world in a race for a cure for spinal cord injuries!
