Another @dancingabc season has started. My time on that show was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but also one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Our bodies and minds are capable of so much but we limit them because we're afraid to go beyond the safety of the walls we've built. The most extraordinary moments of my life have come about because I pushed down my self inhibiting limits and stepped outside them. It's terrifying but that is when your soul says "thank you. Finally, let's get to work." There we're countless times on this show where my body was exhausted and injured, my mind was fried, and I knew that there was no way I could learn and do what was asked of me. It was impossible. That's what my past beliefs were trying to tell me. So every time I'd hear my mind say "I can't do this" I'd close my eyes and with determination say "you got this" "you can do this" and I would pray for help to believe it. The mind is powerful and I forced myself to believe in new limits; that I could in fact do things that my previous limits knew I couldn't. I love these pictures because they are proof that indeed, I could.
I expanded my box. Why live inside a small box if you can live in a big one where you can be so much more.
