“I had girlfriends in school. I was lucky, I was popular. But when I left home I was a boy who looked like a girl. I would go to castings for male models and they would say, 'No, the women's casting is over there." I had a phase of working out in gym a lot, to try and be more muscular and masculine, but I just lost weight and looked even more like a girl.
