I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your kindness in the last couple weeks since my dad’s passing. I’m private by nature and prefer to process in quiet spaces. All that to say, if I’ve been slow to respond or haven’t at all, or if I have not been my usual self, or if I’ve come across in any way less than warm or friendly, please pardon and forgive me. It’s not at all intentional. It’s just me giving myself permission to take the time I need and I have admittedly had my moments. Thankfully not every day or moment is spent in sorrow. I’m walking through grief and loss, yes. But I’m also very thankful for the memories that I was gifted and for the gift of life right in front of me. We all inevitably walk through this process but this is my own journey with it. I can’t say that I can understand what someone else is going through in it or that I feel understood by anyone else because the factors and dynamics are so very different. And that’s completely okay. It isn’t easy to find words to offer others when these moments hit, but all of you have extended me such tender wonderful thoughts. Please know that I’m grateful beyond expression even if I haven’t shown it lately. Thank you for walking alongside me and surrounding me with such grace and love. You all are incredible beyond expression and I am grateful for each of you. ❤️
